Salam,
I am a big fan of Luc Besson and each and every one of his movies. Fifth Element was the first of his movie that i watched, when i was 14/15. It is one of my favorite movie of his, and also one of my top favorite movie of all time. I'm an 80's child, so of course being in a 'Star Wars' generation, i have a soft spot for sci-fi movie. The fact that this is an early 90's movie -before CG advance technology, made it one of the movie which introduces good effect and plot, and still made it one of the best futuristic sci-fi movie ever made. I find the movie was consist of simple plot, very witty sense of humor, quirky style of action, endearing characters, great soundtrack and best of all, genius message. Luc Besson reportedly wrote this story when he was 15, which made it more amazing. To those who never watch his work, don't be fooled by the genre of Fifth Element, he is one of the most versatile director out there, while still have a very distinct style. The Messenger: Joan of Arc, The Professional, Le Grand Blue, La Femme Nikita, The Transporter, Taxi...are among the few movie he made.
This is one of the scene that i love, with amazing soundtrack by Cheb Kaled, "Alech Taadi"
