Hide:Seek

I hide from the path of shame i walked before,

I seek for the light that guide me through,

I hide under the light so the shadow might not enter,

I seek the strength to stay away for the darkness,

I hide from those who seek for truth,

I seek for those who hide their suffering,

I hide from the ego and the pride that feeds the world,

I seek for the grace and mercy that fills my soul,

I hide beyond the realm of spaces,

I seek for infinite field that opens up to everything,

I hide from the world may it not catch me staring,

I seek for blindness from attachment,

Hide,

Seek,

I hide for the person i was once before,

I seek for the person that I am...

for the fact, that I am nothing

and I am everything

Have i found it then?

Painting: War Of Hope

Salam,

So apparently my pregnant post are not making hits, or feedbacks. LOL...its alright, just to cheer up the page, i thought i might as well post up 'something' else other than my pregnancy post. I've been wanting to paint again. To me, it has a therapeutic effect whenever i paint, which i find would be perfect for me right now since i need all the relaxation i need. I was going through all my old paintings, and i'm thinking of sharing some with my sisters and friends out there. I'm hoping to draw more to help me relax throughout this pregnancy, and i'm hoping to post it and share the progress as the pregnancy progress. Let's call it; "the pregnancy mandala project..."

So, as i was going through my old paintings, as i was saying, i found paintings from my first group show i did a couple of years back. Its called 'War of Hope' series, which potrayed a lot of irony & sarcasm. This is half of the drawings, and some of it have been sold and some were given to my closest friend for their support. Looking through this painting, i'm determine to start drawing again, insyaAllah...

this paintings was dedicated for the iraq war that was going on between the americans. Intentions was highlighted in a sarcasm, dark comical way to mirror the irony of the war itself. It was my first group show, which featured 8 of my artwork in a local gallery, in Central Market Kuala Lumpur. This show was in Dec 2007-Jan 2008.
