Salam,
I am currently TRYING (i'm not too sure why, but i've been having difficulties in reading, I can't seem to focus) to read Magical Child by Joseph Pearce. I really really want to read his book, since i was highly recommended to read his book, if i were to hope in having a 'magical' child. BUT, Due to this current 'difficulties' i am forced to look for videos and audio of his talk. Alhamdulillah, I found this! this video talks about how a mother's emotion could effect the growth of the child's brain, which i find very interesting. More reason for me to stay 'happy' & 'cheery'. Although i have to say, hormones & mood swings is really making it quite tough...Think of happy thoughts...think of happy thoughts...
p/s: I am mostly happy when i'm reading, but since i couldn't do much reading (this baffles me!), i'm torn between sleeping entire day or...nope, just sleeping...LOL

I have heard that mothers who experience a lot of stress can affect their babies. Especially fighting and arguing or going through severe emotional stress or trauma.
Now that you know you are pregnant, do you "feel" pregnant yet? Has anything changed about how you think or feel?
I am just curious, I think pregnant women are amazing, so strong and glowing :)
There's a change alright~ I'm definitely going through mood swings. I get all emotional very easily. Especially when it comes to my husband. He's very understanding about it, after rolling his eyes, since he have some experience with his son from his previous marriage. (which is ten years ago).
Besides that, & the positive pregnancy test, i pretty much feel the same. No nausea/morning sickness, Alhamdulillah. I like to think its a GREAT blessing. i have my friend and sister in law who is also pregnant at the moment who is going through days in bed for that horrible feeling. I'm just more sleepy at day time. (which is a change since i never sleep during daytime)+ hungry all the time..LOL.
I'll keep you posted, with the progress insyaAllah... :)
